As this wiki is still just starting off I thought to temporarily use this page for some initial discussion until there are some "current events" ie. actual collaborative page projects starting off. Feel free to move this to the Discussion page instead (or remove entirely).

MediaWiki update to 1.16.0?

The latest release of MediaWiki introduces the Vector skin, which is (in my opinion) a better default skin than Monobook. Related to this I'm also interested in making a better looking skin based on Vector. At tolkien.kontu.info you can find a recent design I've made for another MediaWiki, also based on Vector. Spent a little time and made some Civilopedia style design work – for the most part an idea for table.wikitable class (does not exist by default in MediaWiki, Wikipedia uses the same class name for "generic purpose tables"). Even found a freely usable webfont that is quite close to that of the game :) --Merri 18:16, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
